EDUCATION & CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

We are committed to closing the opportunity gap in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) with innovative and creative programs, activity ideas and resources for Clubs and the youth they serve. After school and summer learning environments provide unique opportunities to advance STEM knowledge and increase interest in STEM-related careers. Using a cross-disciplinary approach that channels young people’s natural curiosity into the design process inherent in the arts, our STEM programs empower youth to create new solutions to real-world challenges. This project-based approach develops critical thinking, problem solving and other 21st century skills critical to success in the STEM workforce and beyond.

CLUB TECH

Club Tech teaches members Internet safety skills through engaging multimedia activities.  It provides fun and grade appropriate activities supporting students’ proficiency in computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and other productivity software.

CAREER LAUNCH

Power Hour: Making Minutes Count reinforces and strengthens the skills and knowledge learned in school and promotes high yield learning activities. Promotes students’ success in school through homework help, tutoring and encourages self-directed learning.

Diplomas to Degrees (d2D) provides a range of services to guide Club members as they work toward high school graduation and prepare for post-secondary education and career success. The Facilitator’s Guide includes fun high-yield activities. The Teen College Guide offers tips on achieving academic success and planning for post-secondary education.
